Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Celestine ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU/UK) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the App on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. App Content and Services

The App provides astrological readings, I Ching divination, numerology calculations, and community features for entertainment and personal insight purposes only. The content provided is not professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, or financial). All readings and interpretations are generated algorithmically and should be treated as entertainment.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without notice.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Post or share content that is offensive, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
  • Interfere with the App's operation or security.

Community posts must be respectful and relevant. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these standards.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, text, and algorithms, is owned by Celestine and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

User-generated content (community posts, comments) remains the intellectual property of the user. By posting content, you grant Celestine a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the App.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features may require a subscription. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms (duration, price, renewal) are displayed at the point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your device settings.

Refunds are handled by the respective app store in accordance with their policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Celestine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to decisions made based on content provided by the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account or by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the App will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Singapore.
